Dinner 2 in copenhagen. We are in Tivoli and have an 8 year old so it was a balancing act. I would have opted for the wine tasting but… beer is not a bad second choice. Schnitzel was a bit overdone(they put that side down to hide it) and the chicken was a bit dry. Fries and potatoes were excellent though as we’re the pickles and the peas. Overall not a bad choice but imagine there are better places in the park to eat.

I came here for the first time, and it really is a little gem hidden right by the main train station. I have gone by it a million times and never gave it a second thought. It is in this cute old house by the side entrance of Tivoli. When you come inside, you are immediately transported to an ”After Ski Party” year round! They have all the décor of a ski lodge with the antlers on the wall, wooden tables, big comfy chairs, and a fire place in every room! And of course the After Ski music is pumping! They have great meat and cheese plates that they bring out on bit pieces of wood, and great greasy fries with ketchup served on the side. I tried their Winter-fresh wheat beer, and it was extra yummy. It’s really fun to get the liter of beer because it’s served in the traditional big glass that you need two hands to hold. And the great thing is they are renovating it on the Tivoli side so they will have an all new outdoor part with a great patio and games in the summer. If you are nearby the main station, and want to grab a beer and feel like you are in the Swiss Alps come here. The service was great and the atmosphere really just invites you to stay and join the party!

A mini German beer hall. A bit expensive, but quite like somewhere in Germany and not half bad!
