Super nice bottle shop with a truly friendly owner — i found here one of the best beers I’ve ever tasted. Strong recommendation for any beer geek!

Need beer? Here’s the place to get beer. The pish-posh craft beer that is. You don’t expect to find the usual Tuborg or Carlsberg whatever but rare beer that you don’t find anywhere else except in some other bottle shops. I went here because I needed beer *shhhh* as wedding gifts(ok, who wants to invite me to their wedding, then? LOL) and since my knowledge of beer is considered teeny tiny and very insignificant, the shop attendant /owner(?) helped me choosing the right beer for the gifts. He was very helpful with the whole thing, especially because I was extremely picky when it comes to choosing beer, also for other people. All in all, I walked out from this shop pretty happy with beers in tow(as wedding gifts!). The prices for the beer ranges from 30 – 70 kr per bottle, but that’s what you pay for special beer, I suppose.

THE beer paradise in Vesterbro(if not Copenhagen) !!! A little beer shop on Istelgade. I was already looking a few weeks ago for a beer shop in Copenhagen and last week I pasted this store. It looked actually not open. But it was. It’s half in the basement /half ground floor. Once you enter you see a nice selection of beers. A really nice selection. I was looking for a belgian commercial beer and the owner right away apologised and said… I don’t sell beer you can find in a grocery store. So he really has a very good selection. I started to chat with him and talked about belgian beers. He knew more then(and I’m Belgian). He won some points ;) He also gave us a beer to try out(we didn’t have to pay for it). And he advised us an other shop to go to, to find my beer. You need a refreshing beer for your BBQ? Go to this shop and let you advice, he will for sure help you. A real passionated beer guy !!!

This is definitely a place you want to check out if you’re a beer lover in Copenhagen. They have all kinds of delicious beers, both local and from around the world; hand-picked by the knowledgable and friendly employees. These beers are not cheap, but they are not common either. You can even enjoy most of them in-store. some of them are ONLY allowed to drink in-store! But there is only one long table so please don’t bring your party of 10 here. Apparently there are even ciders available, though I must have missed them by a day. I love coming by to see what new bottles they have, and I inevitably leave with a lighter wallet.

This is a really good beer store, and on top of that it’s a place where you can actually consume what you want to buy on the premises. Selection here is really solid, with a surprising amount of varied American craft beers if that’s what you want to get your fix. Highlights also include Cantillon from Belgium as well. Like most things in the country, the place is not cheap, but nothing horribly outrageous either. But it was without question the most diverse and best selection I ever saw. The guy who runs the place is also really nice and talkative. If you want some special beer and that’s what you love it’s a must stop

This is the premier beer bottle shop in Copenhagen by a mile. Walked all the way here in the rain about 3.5 miles. The store wasn’t even open yet but Jeppe let me in to peruse the selection. A crap load of rare Mikkeller and stuff that I can’t find anywhere in the states like LA Angel’s Share, FFF Behemoth, hell sometimes they get Dark Lord. Lots of fun stuff from Norway and Sweden too. It was totally worth trekking to in the rain. Awesome service, very friendly, especially kind to huge beer geeks like myself. They changed locations a year or so ago and now have a slightly bigger shop with wayyy more refrigerator space. More staff now and they are all beer experts. Let me put some bottles on reserve to pick up later with no hassles.

The absolute must-visit specialty beer bottle shop in Copenhagen. In Denmark, period. Best game in town. It’s small. Only about 6 coolers, and maybe another cooler worth of stuff on open shelves. The coolers aren’t even full. It’s not cheap. None of these beers are cheap anywhere, though. And many of them are unbelievably hard to get. Lots of great Danish and Belgian beers. Awesome friendly service – they clearly know beer backwards and forwards here. They get a bunch of specialty stuff here, to say the least, and they actually have a fruit lambic from Cantillon that’s sold nowhere else in the world. Blabaer. A blueberry lambic. It’s not always available, and it’s a bit different with every vintage, but it is truly dazzling.
