This place is clearly popular with the neighbors. We luckily got in early enough to snag a table before the dinner rush. Small and cozy with attentive service, we had a lovely evening at Le Saint Jacques. In the summer there are tables that spill into Sankt Jacobs square — walkable from an afternoon in nearby Fælledparken. In winter, there are fewer tables, but the lit wreaths on the windows and candles on the table add to the charm inside. Classic french cuisine with a Danish twist — we enjoyed the Duck confit and the coquilles St. Jacques. The crème brûlée was excellent and the wine choices reasonable in Scandinavia.

Amazing French food with a lovely terrace plus the service is excellent I asked if I could come by with clients and have a wine tasting for them and they said no problem and no surcharge it is almost impossible to do it anywhere in Copenhagen plus they have us enough glasses spittoons and of course the food was top! We had torsk with risotto and the dessert was to die for a hand made lemon sorbet with a lemon tart really die for! Very recommended

This is a lovely French place with good food at reasonable prices. As a starter I had the foie gras terrine. Together with the accompanying jam and bread, it was a tasty starter. Steak frites as a main can’t go much wrong, and the steak was delicious. My Finnish colleagues loved it as well, which shows consistency. I had the tarte tatine as a dessert and it was nice as well. Good French wines. I didn’t pay myself but I thought the prices on the menu were reasonable. So why not 5 stars? Service seemed a bit inexperienced, although friendly. But my biggest critique is the very small menu. 3 mains only, and they aren’t very creative in my opinion. As this place is conveniently located, I’m afraid I’ll get quickly bored. I hope the menu changes often. Top tip: they seem to have on Sunday evenings 3 courses for 200DKK. Book a table.
