Ok hot chocolate(a bit to the sweet side) and nice cosy chairs to sit in. Unfortunately the chairs are so deep and cosy, it becomes a challenge to eat while you sit in them. So if you want to dive into their delicious cakes or cheap weekend brunch, I would recommend sitting in anything but the cosy chairs.

One of the few cafés in Copenhagen that have really put money and effort to their interior. Plus the good cheesecakes(for only 35dkk) found in different tastes make it a good place to visit. Apparently it’s also good for studying. I saw few plugs at the corners if you bring your laptop with you, which quite a few people did. The interior with these comfy couchy chairs and the earthy colours make it relaxing and the fact that there is good space in between the tables is a huge bonus. All the cakes on the window seemed good. And the blueberry cheesecake that we ordered was delicious. My mango milkshake was too heavy for my taste. I also found a small peace of aluminum foil in my mouth after few zips of the milkshake. Don’t know what they were doing but that was a bit off putting. I was also slightly cold inside as they kept the door open. These are the two reasons I give 4 stars and not 5. Generally a nice café in Nørrebro!

Baresso closed down. Kaffehuset 44 opened. A very casual and relaxing new café. The style is quite ‘woody’ if I may add. Soft music is played in the background, the sound of soft chattering roams the café beautifully, like soft whispering. The women behind the counters are lovely kind. The prices are cheaper than Baresso’s. Cheesecakes — 35, — Chai latte(4 to choose from, all David Rio) 30⁄35(small/large) Tea 25, — The coffee is cheap as well.
