This place is very cute and the owner is so friendly! The tea was great, she let me smell it before I decided on it. She was so nice, she chatted with us about our tea, coffee, and whoopie pie, and was really helpful.

I have heard a lot about this place and was really looking forward to trying one of the infamous whoopie pies. Sadly it didn’t live up to my expectations. That said I loved the little shop and the wonderful owner. The coffee was made perfectly and I’m certain some of the other cakes would have tasted delightful and been a better fit. The store is warm and welcoming and the owner is amazingly welcoming. A visit here could brighten a rainy and grey Danish day.

Delicious pastries and homemade chai latte – Julie is an incredibly friendly and welcoming owner and baker. She has skills!!! Makes all of the pastries by hand and from scratch. Any visitor to the neighborhood would be happy to find themselves in Whoopie. I tried the pumpkin flavored pie, and it was moist, had a depth of flavors, and wasn’t too expensive for a mid-afternoon pick me up. A friend with me had the chocolate cream cheese brownie… which was to die for. Thanks for the delicious treats, Julie!

Every time a place open close to me I get really excited. Whoopie is a little cake-coffee-shop who. Wait for it. Also have glutenfree cakes. I ordered an americano with a bit of milk and a banana split brownie. The coffee is fair trade and was served in these modern see through thermomugs and tasted perfect. The cake was also deliciously moist and was a nice combo with my coffee. So, I really liked the interior inside. The little shop had these creative tiles around the counter, the lamps were made out of jam jars and at the counter there were these colorful, creative cakes. The lady behind the counter was outgoing, very talkative and friendly. She really made you feel welcome. What I noticed and liked is also that the coffee shop also has these creative theme days, like Whoopie Wednesday and frappé Friday. Now You probably wondering why I gave this place 4⁄5 stars? They didn’t have a toilet, so I had to walk over to the burger bar. The price range was standard Copenhagen coffee prices so all in all; go taste the little coffee-cake shops cakes

What a nice addition to the Sankt Hans Torv area! After Mad Hatter stopped selling their great whoopie pies shortly after opening, I was pretty disappointed. I wonder if there’s any coincidence that this place opened around the corner. In any case, the pies here are just as good. I tried the little chocolate chip with strawberry filling; soft cakes on slightly firm icing makes for good structural integrity when biting into it. They also have regular cakes and macarons, even some sweets free from gluten and dairy! The lady working there was very kind and friendly. I’m not huge on sweets but I’ll be happy to stop by here for a whoopie pie and coffee when I’m in the area.

This place is awesome. I’ve been to Whoopie twice now, and I plan on going tons of more times before the end of my stay here in Copenhagen. This cute, small spot is run by an amazing lady who makes delicious whoopie pies and awesome ice coffee(the deluxe has brownie and ice cream blended in, it’s a must have). Whoopie is a welcome new-comer to Nørrebro, and I’m hoping it’ll be here for a very long time.
