Nicely situated. Walked everywhere from the hotel — Nyhavn, Design Museum, Noma, Torvehallerne, Norreboro, Tivoli, Papiroen. Hotel graciously upgraded me to a junior suite and celebrated my birthday. Sweet staff. Small bathroom and dated elevator. Too bad construction in front of hotel — not much of a noise issue but that it would have looked spectacular if already done.

This hotel was such a gem. Situated in the heart of the city, everything is within an arms reach. Upon arrival late in the evening, we were greeted with a smile from the bellman. Check-in was a breeze and we were shown to our really beautiful room, a very beautifully appointed suite with a separate living room. The bed was comfortable, service was top-notch and our entire stay was very comfortable. We did a bicycle tour that was arranged through the hotel of the city for 4 hours — it was very informative, but our guide was quite tough around the edges. He is apparently the owner of the bicycle tour company, so I’ll let that slide. We also did a tour of the castles around the North by car and that is a must! Try Restaurant Sletten after Louisiana Museum. Also, the restaurant within the hotel is really great for dinner. The Sunday Brunch is apparently very popular and it is extremely hard to snag a reservation, but we did not think it was anything special. The dinner at Marchal, however, was excellent.

The renovation of this building is pretty fantastic. It’s going to set you have 400−500+ US a night so be prepared to lay some moola down. I was here mainly for the restaurant but to spend the day here was pretty spectacular. Drink lounge and eating is never a bad thing in such a ritzy place…

I finally decided to try out this gem hotel in Copenhagen that many said it is THE Best in CPH. One gets the feeling of luxurious the moment you walked through the door. All the staff is nice l, courteous and very helpful, as one expect from this 5 star caliber. They upgraded me to a suite, and the room was very sumptuous and luxurious, down to the details that most fine hotel don’t even considered. Furnishing was smart with the mixture of old world and new world. B&O TV as one would expect. One would have the feeling of being rich and spoiled just by looking into the mirror :) Everything else about this hotel is first rated. The gym, lobby, breakfast… I can go on forever. I only gave a 4 star because the bed is not as comfortable. It is a strange setup, a nice mattress as a base and a padding on top… very austere. Most good mattress requires several layers of padding like one would find at the Marriott or Westin. The sheets are good but could have higher thread count. The question became: should one pay the extra cost for the luxurious feeling of being pampered, at the expense of a good night sleep? May be there is a reason Zuckerberg stayed at the Nimb when they visited CPH?

Stunning! This hotel has recently been renovated. I was fortunate enough to book a suite two weeks after the reopening. The place is drop dead gorgeous! Everything is top of the line. My suite has 2 balconies :) The service and attention to detail is outstanding. I have traveled the world and am pleased to add this experience to my list of fantastic hotels. It’s no wonder Hotel D’Angleterre is one of the leading hotels of the world.
