First off, I do have to admit that it is a very hyggelit setting. I chose my own table, in nice quiet corner. The manager lit a candle for me, providing gentle light. I ordered the lunch buffet. I like to eat buffet meals slowly so that I can register when I am getting full and consciously hone in on my favorite dishes to make the most of them. Moreover, I had hours to kill until a meeting at 17:45. I noticed another patron who had evidently been there for some time, reading on her laptop. Another patron was using an i-Pad. I pulled out my laptop to read a nice Star Wars novel then went to get my food. Despite the 5-star ratings on TripAdvisor, the selection was minimal: Couscous; salad with tuna coated in a disgusting Russian dressing; feta cheese; labneh or some yogurt-sour cream cross with herbs; cauliflower in mayonnaise; pasta salad in mayonnaise; potato salad in mayonnaise; roasted potatoes; roasted carrots(one of the few tasty dishes); spicy peppers and chili paste; green salad(which was strangely wet, but had the least amount of dressing so I went for it hard); an incredibly bland cheesy beef macaroni bake; roast pork with marinated peppers(a weird but kinda-yummy combination); Greek meatballs stewed in tomato(mostly fat and breadcrumbs, but tasty in a greasy way); rice; bread; and a strangely alluring potato soup. Really not much to choose from, especially when only three dishes were worth eating. Most everything — rice, pasta, labneh, salad, soup, pork, potatoes, cauliflower — was depressingly bland. Unfortunately, there was no waiter, and the manager only cleared my dishes twice during my three-hour stay. Three hours does sound like a lot, but there were plenty of tables available the whole time and, mind you, I was not eating continuously. I was mostly reading my book, bothering no one. And yet the manager persisted in asking if I was«okay» and saying that I was taking«too much» time when he cleared a nearby table. I did not appreciate his efforts to encourage me to leave. Neither did these visits mean he cleared *my* dishes. Oh well. In summary, the roasted carrots, green salad, and roast pork were worth eating. Everything else was bland, and most else was very oily — in an unhealthy and rather unpleasant way. So much for the«grandmother’s family recipes» all are raving about on TripAdvisor — perhaps I will learn my lesson and use Unilocal from now on. I learned one thing more — DUCK when you enter the men’s bathroom. I hit my head every time.

Food is really good for what it costs(I’d pay more without complaint). Only the pork was a little off for my taste. The beef in red sause is absolutely amazing! About service… friendly and helpful, but not very professional… which is actually something good.

Had a really nice lunch here with some friendly, genuine Greek owners. Copenhagen is expensive. Really expensive. So, when we found this cheap Greek lunch buffet we were overjoyed. Only 58 kroner for lunch, including a coffee. 58 kroner! Good luck finding that price anywhere else. You would think for such a low price the food would be lacking in quality, but it was great. The day we were there the options included stewed tomato chicken, greek meatballs, couscous salad, green beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, boiled potatoes, green salad and more. It was well worth the price and the flavor was delicious and homemade, like you were at your Greek friend’s house. I would definitely recommend this spot for cheap eats and friendly atmosphere.
