Silas is amazing. We had a very rough day yesterday. No luggage for 3 days and lots of things just going wrong on our trip. Silas had mercy on us and called his manager and the two of them went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. It was such a simple thing, generosity, that made this night in Copenhagen our best. Thank you Hotel Christian IV.

It is a sort of old fashioned European motel. Nothing fantastic or horrible about it. For the money spent on, I would say it was not too bad. Breakfast was the only highlight I could think as acceptable though except a couple of tourists who were grabbing bread and other stuff with their bare hands. Even worse, some of them put it back. Who else is going to pick that up? Staff were bit distant. Not hostile or anything, but far from friendly. Will stay again? Maybe, maybe not. If I do, I hope I hope I can avoid some poorly mannered guests.

This hotel was great for what we were looking for. Centrally located near bars/restaurants and Nyhavn and very affordable! The breakfast was a great spread of meats, yogurts, fruit etc. Loved the coffee/pastries in the afternoon/evening. The people at the front were always helpful. Water pressure was decent and hair dryer was surprisingly good!

Great Location just a few blocks from the beautiful Nyhaven area, shopping district, and train station. There was free Wifi and breakfast offered every morning. It was a value priced hotel and we got what we paid for. The room was very small but it was clean and had a private bathroom. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, cookies & apples were available 24 hrs which was helpful. My only complaint was the teeny tiny elevator that freaked me out.

Great location. Reasonable prices. Free WIFI. Nothing too fancy but the service and over all value was good and I would stay here again.

A mellow little hotel, not far from the Kongens Nytorv stop on the Metro, and Rosenborg Palace in the King’s Garden. It’s not fancy, but it makes a great base for exploring K-town. Breakfast is one of the high points here — sliced meats, rotary cheese slicer, soft-boiled eggs(in an unmarked cookie jar, don’t miss them), some too-sweet-for-me Danishes, and cereal. They keep tea and coffee out throughout the afternoon — a welcome sight after a blustery or drizzly walk. The elevator is truly tiny(perhaps two people and a large suitcase), and not entirely confidence-inspiring. A small living room /lounge area has a large flatscreen TV, a pair of couches, and a fairly archaic computer with a printer for boarding passes or Google Maps directions. There’s WiFi throughout the building, ask at the front desk for the password. The rooms are simple and functional; ours had a tiny desk, which was more useful for unpacking than working. Danish showers tend to be less contained than most — you can see they’ve retrofitted a lip across the bathroom floor to try to give some dry vs. wet distinction.
