Mediocre taste and below my standard for noodle as I come from indonesia where you can have great tasty noodle almost everywhere. I had mee ayam(chicken noodle) — The taste is only salty and thr texture of the noodle is below standard. The one that i love is teh botol from indonesia, it is good to have that kind of tea in singapore as you can not find it in singapore groceries

had their mee kikil. beef ball with beef tendon in yellow noodle soup. and an extra order of beef ball soup. the tendon wasn’t tender enough. beef ball is tasty(may be msg), solid and bouncy in texture. i like how you get lots of fresh condiments to add as you like or if you are not sure just follow their suggested noodles to condiment pairing. i chose sour green chilli, hot red chilli, nutty chilli and kecap manis. a sweat inducing concoction!

This shop is practically a hole in the wall at United Square, and a little bit unusual in that it only serves up 6 types of noodles. My favourites here are the seafood lor mee which is served in a clear eggy gravy instead of the usual dark one, and the mee bakso which is noodles with beef balls. Chilli lovers rejoice, because they provide a whole lot of condiments + recommended recipes to combine the condiments together so you can create your own noodle masterpiece. Avoid the peak hours because the shop really is very tiny, so be prepared to squeeze a little even if you get a seat! They also serve up starters, desserts and drinks to complete your noodle meal.
