Xi Yan is one the early chinese restaurant that started the private dining scene in HK. XY Singapore opened in 2005 and has been in the forefront of chinese dining. Most of it’s menu is fusion or traditional dishes with a modern twist. With just 6 tables, Xi Yan is perfect for your business lunch or intimate family dinner. Reservation only.
Some of my favourite dishes are deep-​fried prawn-​paste groupa with pomelo sauce, beef brisket and the xi yan appetizer: the japanese greenhouse tomatos with wasabi sesame sauce (this has since appeared in other restaurants and even on the handburger menu)
