I recently stopped by when my friends brought me here. We already had dinner, but stopped by for dessert and a night cap. We ordered the crème brûlée and a bottle of Cava. Dessert was tasty and the wine delicious. What’s even better is the atmosphere. There’s no pretense, just a dinner and drinks place with friendly staff. Most patrons have met Bill, the young, friendly owner who takes care to greet his customers and ensures their experiences are enjoyable. You can catch Bill showing off his chalk skills on his IG(@bill8cafe). The music is on point. It’s such a small detail, but it really made my experience. I can’t wait to come back to try dinner.

Set lunch is reasonable. Taste is subtle n rich. Good place for a slow meal. But Service is a little tense. I dun feel welcomed.

Happened to be in the area, and my friend recommended this place. The décor’s really nice and inviting. We ordered the Chilli Crab Pasta and the Grilled Sea Bass. For appetizers we went for the Wasabi Smoked Duck Salad and dessert was Tiramisu. Overall, we really loved the taste of the food because it was delicious, subtle and flavourful. It was not too salty and not too bland, and we thought that it was just right! Perhaps only the tiramisu was very average, but it was still okay. Now let’s talk about the food: the Smoked Duck Breast Salad with Wasabi Sauce contains garden-fresh greens, topped off with slices of Smoked Duck Breast. The duck slices were very tender and I really liked this dish. My friend had the pan-fried codfish and it was done perfectly. The cod was fresh and it was served beautifully. Overall, indeed a very tasty dish! Overall, this is a great place to have a nice dinner in a very cosy environment. Highly recommended!

I like this place for a good but not prohibitively expensive lunch – they offer a set of main + drink at $ 8.80 nett, with an additional $ 1 for a scoop of ice cream. WIN! Food is generally well-portioned and interesting, though the photo I put up was the day I decided I wanted the noodles because I didn’t want rice. Wanton noodles not so great, steam fish filet or pan fried chicken with peanut sauce, much better.

I came here a few years ago and loved it. The ambiance is perfect — it’s tucked away in a busy street of bars — but this place only has a few tables, and is functions as a full restaurant and bar. The drinks and wine selection here is amazing. They give good recommendations and their food options are cool — it’s French/Asian Fusion and Mediterranean. What I Love: What I ordered, the Duck Wasabi Salad, was to die for. It’s hard to get really good salad, especially when it’s Duck. For this salad, the flavours blended perfectly. My friend ordered the Laksa Pasta, and another had a steak. No of us complained. What I Don’t Love: The prices. This place is pretty chi chi and nice, and a dinner there(plus drinks) would set you back $ 40 to $ 60 per person. So, it’s not an everyday place. Overall, it’s a great place!
