Wine Connection is best known for their restaurant outlet at Robertson Quay and Cuppage Terrace.
However this wine wholesaler also have various other outlets across the island where they sell just wine, not food. And they do such a great job at it.
They sell wine for the mass market. Little use of Jargon or fancy labels. Just good quality wines for an honest price. Eventhough wine import tax in Singapore is 8 sing per bottle and you also have to factor in transportation, they somehow manage to sell wines starting from 15 sing. Indication of quality is clearly located by medals and ratings on the bottles.
Wine is very personal so don’t be afraid to try some wines without ratings and play around. You can’t go wrong with these prices. And if you really don’t like, you can always use the wine in your risotto/​pasta sauce/​beef stew the next day!
