The bun is good but not grilled inside, the meat is OK but not grilled enough on the outside, the sauce is good but there is too much of it. OK burger …

Great burgers, but their patties are frozen. The waitress was very knowledgable and seems to really love burgers. Feel free to bring outside drinks because they are very hospitable. Best burger next to Tendon! If you don’t want to queue for Tendon, this is a great choice

Order the burger without relish and mayo. Otherwise the burger is disgusting. Without those two, a medium burger tastes legit.

The best burger in Singapore… where is the six star rating? When I asked for a medium rare burger, I finally got what I had never gotten in this city-state, a medium rare burger. The finishing was perfect, from the bread to the meat to the greens served with it. The fries were amazing too, and the mayo with the fries and the burger was to die for. I’m not one to like mayo very much, but this one, this one is something different. Had a pecan pie for dessert which is quite nice, and the beer selection is quite affordable and varied. I honestly wish I could write more, but I don’t want to waste any of your time while you read this review instead of going and having the best burger here. You’ll thank me for it!

I’ve always walked past this place but have never gone in as the place looked small and cramped. This time, my hungry friends had traipsed down the entire Tanjong Pagar Road on a Friday, and with every establishment full(I kid you not), we ended up here as this was the only place with seats, which isn’t always a good sign. We were however pleasantly surprised at the burgers! The beef patties were suitably thick and juicy! Flavorful! The burgers/patties aren’t large, so if you are looking for something substantial, these aren’t. nonetheless, these burgers were still satisfying! The portobello one seemed nice(my friend’s order) and I would go back to try this one. The truffle fries were good too, although I found the smell to be a little overpowering. Haha! One side note, the salad was a little oily, which was strange. We sat outside, so thankfully it didn’t feel cramped. Will go back!

I came here today for a spur of the moment lunch plan with a friend. As soon as we walked in we were seated. Unfortunately, it was in a cramped little corner. We ordered our food and though it came rather quickly, I wouldn’t say it was the best. It was overloaded with truffle mayo and the meat was two soft and crumbled out of the burger. The bread ended up getting soggy because how juicy the burger was. All in all… I have a coupon for this place from pickatsg but I don’t think I’ll be using it. #disappointed

They don’t serve water here – only bottled water and an assortment of soft drinks. My biggest pet-peeve for a restaurant. Oh, that and adding $ 1 for water. Really, do I need to pay $ 1 extra for tap water? I’m just borrowing the glass! Other than that, I def. do recommend the burgers here. They’re not the big, fat ones at Billy Bombers, but they will fix that burger craving. The beef patties are meaty and seasoned well! I especially fell in love with the balsamic vinaigrette in the side salad, so much that I offered to purchase the bottle off them(They said no :[). Great little joint for some mean(portion-controlled) burgers!

Two Blur Guys definitely has the best burger I’ve tried so far in Singapore. Back in NYC, this burger would fit right in. It’s a small, cozy burger shop, with limited seating and a warm and welcoming staff. There is one primary waitress and one burger chef. We noticed that our burgers were made with extreme care, and after we ate, the burger chef was very focused on making sure we enjoyed our burgers. The burgers come with a small scoop of potato salad and a side salad of greens with a delicious balsamic glaze. We wrapped up the meal with the apple pie, and it was tasty, but I can’t help wishing it was served hot with a scoop of apple pie on the side :) PARTINGTHOUGHT: We’ll continue on our Singapore burger quest, but so far, we’re quite happy to have found a winner!

The burgers here are very good — the beef patties are thick and juicy and the bun is also very good. I had my burger medium well and it came out perfectly cooked, while my wife’s was medium and slightly more pink in the middle. Love it when a restaurant knows how to cook their meats. The venue is very small and non-descript. I’ve walked past this place MANY times without as much noticing it. It looks like a bakery from the outside b/c they display their pies and desserts prominently. There’s not much seating so get there during an off hour or do take away. They really need to put a BIG picture of their juicy hamburger on the storefront to attract more folks. We also shared the lemon curd tart which was awesome, worth trying. I only give them 4 stars b/c they do not serve fries and their version of ketchup is a translucent gelatinous pink sweet goo that I couldn’t get into. Next time I’ll bring fries and ketchup from McDonald’s to complement their satisfying burger!

For someone who generally stays away from burgers, I really dig the ones here. I ordered the Prime Beef Burger which came with a side of leafy greens and a tiny mountain of potato salad. The beef patty was thick, juicy and well-seasoned. Definitely not fast food material. I saw the cook meticulously grill the beef patty as she toasted the buns, take out the buns and slap on the patty and a slice of gruyère, stick the whole thing back into the oven and finally, keep a watchful eye for the buns to turn a nice golden brown and the cheese to melt just right. The burger here is surely a product of love, love that goes all the way down to my tummy tum tums.

Apart from the other reviews, this small burger bar also does quiches and quick bites to go, which they will heat up for you. The mushroom quiche I got tasted good, but it was a little small and I scoffed it down quickly. I came here on a Friday afternoon around 4pm so it was really empty. Staff were a little bit lacklustre in their service attitude, but otherwise the place looked quite appealing and I wouldn’t mind dropping by for a full meal if I’m ever around the area.

2 Blur Guys is a relatively new burger shop set up in Orchid Hotel. Its concept is simple — a stripped down quick meal place which serves quality food at reasonable prices. The menu is simple — there’s a list of less than 10 burgers to choose from, and each burger comes with a side of potato salad and greens. Portions aren’t massive, but they’re pretty filling. 2 Blur Guys also serves desserts such as brownies and ice cream. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but it serves as a functional place to grab dinner at with friends.

With just four tables in a tiny space, Two Blur Guys isn’t trying very hard perhaps in this newly competitive Duxton/Tanjong Pagar area(Soooo many good things to eat around here), but maybe it doesn’t have to. I come to Duxton a lot and frequently walk over to the Orchid Hotel to eat at Teppei or Tonkotsu King. So I was pleasantly surprised to see this tiny space along the Tanjong Pagar stretch. I wish they did more marketing, or maybe it’s good that they didn’t, because when I started to hear friends excitedly discuss the burgers and desserts here I was intrigued enough to go check it out. There’s a small selection of interesting(mostly Aussie) beers and wines, and the cakes and tarts like the Lamington are good. Alas I have been too full from ramen usually to ever eat a full meal here, but I’m going to check out the burgers next time especially now that I’ve found out that Singapore’s elusive food extraordinaire Jimmy Chok is involved here in some way or other.
