As with any other toastbox, they serve very nice local coffee. This outlet however is slightly pricier. They do have a two tier pricing I realize, $ 2.20 for kopi o at premium outlets like this(another example would be MBS) and $ 1.70 for heartland outlets. I am fine with this since they probably have higher rental to pay and the price is still cheaper than your western coffee. Will leave this review as a short and sharp one.

I believe this is the location in the Somerset Food Republic? In any case, I love Toastbox. Their coffee rocks, they serve great basic Singaporean food, and they’re clean and organized and well branded. This location, however, has pretty bad service and long waits. Advice for travelers — Singapore serves a kaya toast set that usually includes toast with kaya spread(google it) and soft boiled eggs. By soft boiled, think one step away from raw. If that isn’t your thing, ask for the egg to be cooked longer. It’s delicious! Make sure you get the coffee. It’s served with evaporated milk and is well-sweetened. It’s dark and strong and delicious!
