A friend claims this is better than the Block 85 heavyweights, and now that 85 is open again, I might actually do a comparison!
It’s as simple a dish as it gets — noodles, soup, pork balls, sliced chillies. But its SO SO SO comforting on a cool rainy night. Get a sugar cane juice from the uncle two stalls to the right to complete your night.

Much like the stalls at Bedok 85 that sell this version of bak chor mee, the one at tian nan xing is a bowl of soupy goodness waiting to be devoured.
Its the same simple combination — meat balls, minced meat, dumplings. Very simple ingredients but very very tasty. The soup is made from por bones which have been simmered for two hours. Thatsprobably the secret to making a soup base thats worth seconds.
