I’ve dropped into The Latin Quarter a few times. It’s good to see on the other reviews that the location is listed as Philip Street instead of Chulia St — as the entrance to this café/restaurant is actually on Philip Street. Finding the entrance can be a nightmare for first time visitors when you are not sure of the area. The furnishings are really cool. This is a great place to have a morning meeting with my team before we hit the office. There are a few round tables available which fit 6 to 8 people comfortably. It a perfect morning or afternoon team coffee destination or ideal for a business lunch or an informal team lunch and coffee/drinks. The Latin inspired music is in the background and not intrusive at all. The food is varied and there is pretty much something for everyone here. I highly recommend The Latin Quarter.

Located along Philip Street, the Latin Quarter is a pretty nice place to hang out during lunch just one street away from the ever crowded One Raffles Place and Chevron House. Take a seat and enjoy your meal in peace within the restaurant or do a quick take-away. At $ 6.80, one can choose 1 main salad base, 2 sides, 1 dairy or mix, 1 crunch and lastly 1 vinegrette. I usually add one protein at an additional $ 2.30 to $ 3.00 depending on what protein you choose. Service is rather prompt and atmosphere is pleasant. When you enter the restaurant, it might seem a little small but do walk all the way in and you will realize that there are a lot more seats behind. The ingredients are fresh and the serving is huge. For fans of croutons, this one is worth a try. Not too hard but still really crunchy, it really adds the oomph into the salad. Tortilla chips are always a good alternative. The wraps look pretty decent too and I guess that will be on my plate the next time I’m here!

This is a new restaurant in Raffles Place that caters to the lunch crowd. The restaurant is HUGE! So is the chicken quesadilla. Yum! Okay not so new anymore, noticed I started a review and never finished when I checked in. I like this place bc it’s always quiet and comfortable even during peak lunch hours. Maybe that doesn’t bode well for the state of the business but I’ll happily pay more to be free from the insane cattle herd /battle during lunch time in the CBD.
