Decent coffee, comfortable ambience, wifi availability. Note: not as convenient without a car, and parking might be an issue

Had the flat white and American breakfast today. The croissant with Ham was good! Especially if you like it warm and crispy. Liked the sausage as well, but those two were probably the only good ones on the plate. The bacon didn’t taste like real bacon at all… A disappointment for a bacon lover I’m a avid drinker of flat white, and I didn’t like what I got this time. Could be the beans, but I thought there wasn’t enough ‘coffee’ and too much milk in it. And cold milk too. A turnoff for a hot beverage. Overall, an ok place to chill in if it isn’t crowded! But if good food and coffee are requirements for the day then probably should skip it!

Their coffee is pretty good! Chatted with the boss, really young and witty, friendly and all, apparently really good at latte art! Their rainbow cake is yums! Place is a little inaccessible, but they are open til pretty late so u can head over for a cuppa after dinner at chomp chomp or something :)

If you stay around the Serangoon Gardens area and bemoaning the lack of cafes, cheer up ‘cos The Coffee Daily will be sure to perk you up! I like the exterior — very fresh(walls doused in beige white paint), clean(words in clear, atypical font) and inviting. Even though we headed there on a weekday night for some desserts, the shop front looked even more appealing lighted up. We ordered an Apple Crumble(my favourite), a Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and a Flat White. Each cup of hot drink ordered was served with Malongo Biscuits(Another plus point as its my favourite confectionery to go along with my drink!) Verdict — Apple Cumble was warm and you’re treated to numerous chunks of sweet apple bits as you bite into the slice — Hot Chocolate was very rich and velvety smooth; will send you on a sugar high! — Flat White was good, ’nuff said. The place was sufficiently filled even on a weekday night and there was a table with kids too. One of the waiter noticed the kid(about 3 years old) and gave the little one a complimentary mini scoop of ice cream — talk about being a kid-friendly place and waiters with initiative! Great chill-out place near me, many many thumbs up!

Unilocalers secret: Boss own R&D Chocolatety-Tea is THEBEST! Try their Hazelnut Latte too! And for the decaf, smoothies there are awesome! Food wise, Crispy loaf curry chicken is really nice, and their waffle ice cream is yummy! A really comfortable cosy little café away from the buzzing city. I remember seeing customers lazing around in the café, picked up a guitar placed in their café, and started strumming away and singing. Impressive! There were also small family and friends sitting at the café chilling out up to a few hours in a day! Awesome~

Ambiance: The deco of the place is too cute. Old school singapore(vintage feel) combined with modern clean, white & crisp feel :) Great place to chill out with friends. Service: The staff is really friendly and even though they close at 11.30 on a weekend, they never really did try to kick us out on time or rush us(even though they must have been tired after a long day’s work). Basically, they just went about their own business, packing up etc and let us finish up our food which we tried to do asap. Coffee: AWESOME. wasn’t too sweet or too bitter. just right. it’s like they just knew how to my taste :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE 1. tiramisu latte — great! 2. Irish cream — great! 3. Oreo cheese cake — as expected :) 4. Vanilla latter — great!

Chanced upon this place as I live in the neighbourhood. The place is a little out of the usual Serangoon Gardens hype, which is great. I was attracted by the long table that fronts the café. I am not sure about the weekend crowd but it is very quiet on a weekday afternoon. We are the only other table around, which is kind of nice. The latte is a little weak for my liking. They don’t do skim/low fat versions, so be ready to go for the full works, which is the best way to drink coffee anyway. so I have the perfect excuse not to be healthy. Tried the tiramisu, which was nothing to rave about. Come for a quite cuppa in a homely decorated café and the free parking(if you lucked out to snag a spot out front!)

This is really quite a delightful place, something which you will really like to have round the corner of your home. The place has a really small menu so don’t come in expecting to fill your tummies. My friends got themselves a small dish of sheperd’s pie(because most of the sandwiches were sold out) which they thought was not too bad. I had their waffles with a really yummy caramel macadamia nut icecream. I am one whose adverse to caramel based icecream generally but this icecream was a winner because it had a subtle sweetness akin to brown sugar and the macadamia nut bits added a wonderful fragrance with every bite. Coffee is not superb but decent enough. I definitely will encourage them to expand their menu a little, will help in getting more customers living around the area!
