It’s easy to miss this little café specialising in cheese brownies when you’re in the Upper Thomson Area, as it is tucked away in an inconspicuous spot at Sin Ming Centre. But once you’ve discovered The Baker’s Story, you’ll never miss it again. You’re probably wondering what cheese brownies are — it’s a combination of cheesecake and brownie, and tastes like a creamy piece of heaven. Swirled together in a marbled chunk, it’s hard to tell when the cheesecake starts and brownie ends. But I can tell you this — the final creation is smooth, rich and chocolatey. Definitely try the original cheese brownie before exploring it topped with oreo, macademia nuts, chocolate chip, mango or cranberries. I personally still prefer the original(only $ 2.10 a slice!) to the others. They also sell traditional cheesecakes and brownies.
