TCC at Anchorpoint has a nice ambience to it. I like the section just beside Jack’s Place because every table has an electrical point for those who need to charge their laptops or phones. It’s a convenient place for studying or working. I used to study for my exams here and still find myself popping by once in a while when I need somewhere quiet to work on my laptop. It gets a little cold sometimes so perhaps bring another layer if you plan to stay long. Across the many TCC outlets, their service standard has been consistently good. I’ve found them to be courteous, eloquent and customer-oriented, which is a huge plus point for me. Food-wise, I like TCC’s seafood pastas. They are tasty, generous with the seafood and portions are sufficient. I can’t drink too much milk in one day so the Azuki Freeze with its blend of soy milk and red beans works out pretty well for me.

True coffee connoisseurs don’t go to a place where they serve ice cream in your coffee. True art lovers don’t go to a pretentious coffee café where they can be seen to appreciate art. TCC is a pretentious café for people who don’t know real coffee but pretend they like to. TCC does not offer an extensive range of exclusive top quality coffee or any of those coffee’s brewed to perfection using a syphon, ice coffee dripper etc. etc. They just serve regular coffee in different variety’s, mocha’s etc. The ambience on the other hand is welcoming, warm and cosy. This outlet is light, the chairs and couches are comfortable. They serve a range of food from pasta’s to burgers and fish. Never go here if they don’t have a 1-for-1 offer, because you don’t want to pay 20 sing for a spagetti. 10 dollars is already a bit pricey. I had the spaghetti with wasabi-cray fish. Pretty delicious sauce but the spagetti was overcooked. The service is kinda annoying, just a bunch of witty students. At the end they asked if we could leave a positive rating so her boss would have a good impression of her.
