The standard Swensen’s fare but the service at this outlet really is surprisingly good! A sweeter treat than sticky chewy chocolate, really.

Their dishes are very well done and I’ve not been disappointed so far. The Laksa Aglio Alio was an attractive dish of spaghetti of laksa leaf pesto-like topped with three whole tiger prawns that was covered in laksa spices– so amazing, the best aglio olio I ever had(it was a bit too oily for me though). Baked dishes are excellent too, and my favorite is beef with brown sauce. The caramelised onions are juicy and I wish I had more of the delicious sauce. Mac & cheese isn’t bad either, but I only managed two spoonfuls before I didn’t want anymore– too rich to me. Spaghetti Bolognese is very filling– it’s enough for two. The size of the meatballs are the biggest I’ve eaten, and plump and not dry. The tomato sauce is very flavourful, wonderful with Parmesan cheese. I love Swensen’s desserts; I can’t remember the name, but I can describe it– brownie with walnut crust and ice-cream drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce, all in a sizzling hot plate. It is so sinful and addictive, especially the caramel sauce. I always have it whenever I go, and it’s definitely a must-try for all chocolate-lovers and those with a sweet tooth. A Swensen’s, it’s just indulgence.
