Pretty gd and cheap food! Chongqing la zi ji (under ‘Munchies’) was surprisingly juicy and delicious! For ~$ 8. pretty good deal too.
Shrimp wonton mee was not bad, 4 wontons and char siew was not dry like some places. Wonton filling could’ve been marinated/​more tasty though. Nothing that chilli can’t solve.
Stir fried seafood XO noodles was like, which I suppose makes sense since this is a HK café anyway haha. 4 shrimps, some cuttlefish, crabstick, green pepper slices/​onions/​cabbage/​beansprouts, fairly gd amt of food!
Baby cabbage in salted egg yolk () was not bad, not super salty thankfully. there was a LOT of sauce though, a bit scary. Luckily that was just piled on top of the cabbage and was easily removable.
Stir fried carrot cake in XO sauce was a bit disappointing. $ 5.80 but the portion was so-​so. Every piece was deep fried and crispy, but not sure where the XO sauce came in. Bro had a bit of a salt overload after finishing it. Nice and soft inside though!
Anyway, pretty quick service and gd food esp for the price. Saw quite a few people having Macau fried rice w chicken/​pork chop, perhaps will try that next time. Yum!
