I love that the staff are friendly in this local branch of Starbucks at Parkway Parade.
The music is at a pretty good level, although it can be loud when the other surrounding outlets are busy with people and the table nearest the speaker is pretty loud, so best to avoid this one.
There are a few power sockets — two x two outlets by the window seats and one other «inside» the outlet. Wi-​Fi is FREE as per all Starbucks outlets.
The window seats are great to people watch, however the air conditioning in this spot is not too great.

My regular Katong Starbucks.
Not a traditional store since most of the seating is inside the food court alongside stellar outlets such as Kenny Rodgers Roaster (trying not to die laughing).
Staff are always friendly and willing to serve at the table if the Pike Place isn’t ready.

What makes this Starbucks outlet a little different is it’s ‘exterior’ seating — the seating within the outlet is quite limited, so it extends across the corridor to more seats within the mall. It’s become a defacto place for my colleagues to chill out at every time we’re in Parkway Parade. I like that this outlet doesn’t get too packed with people, and that sitting outside makes it quite good for people watching.
