Shoppers Paradize

This has been around for since I was in primary school! It has a lot of things packed within the store: the little trinkets that students buy for no reason, stickers, book marks, cards, stationery, etc. Apart from all these, they also have photocopying service, as well as exam papers for sale. Many kiasu parents are still very into buying exam papers from other schools to drill their children for examinations. I don’t see it as very effective without proper understanding, but oh well…

This place has been around forever — probably more than a decade. It’s really one of those old-​school stationary shops, that are kinda hard to find nowadays around Singapore. It used tobe a bigger store — with it halfed its size (leasing out the other half to Soya House, I think) but it’s still packed to the brim with great treasures. It just brings me back to being a school boy, and it’s nice to loiter and look at all the little knicks and knacks they have.
What I Love: Their prices are great — you can get all your stationary here — from pencils, pens, chalk, paper, examination papers, and all other essential stuff for school and administrative life. They sell quirky vintage stickers, pencil cases, sticky tape, and a whole lot of stuff. I bought my silver umbrellas from here — great price, great quality too. They also have ribbons, wrapping paper, magazines and envalopes for postal requirements.
What I Don’t Love: Absolutely nothing! ;D
