If you love bar soap as much as I do, you’ll love visiting Shea. This store in the basement of Orchard Central has a good variety to choose from. Their products are from all over the world, mainly the UK, France, Australia, and India.
I got some handmade soaps from the Bomb Cosmetics line, and they smell so heavenly! They also have these Welsh «cold process» soaps, which are soaps that take 4 – 6 weeks to make, but apparently lasts longer. You can see long bars of these beautiful soaps on display with interesting textures, such as star anise embedded inside. I went ahead and bought a bar to try out; can’t wait to see how it is.
In addition to soaps, you can find argan oil products, candles, and home fragrance melters (basically, candles without a wick.) If you have any skin conditions, such as eczema or dandruff, they have creams, soaps, and shampoos to help with that, too.
Great shop to wander around in, at the very least to smell some nice things!
