I really like this chicken rice place, if the line is not so long.
The thing is, a lot of people buy to take away and they pack a lottttttttt at once!!!
There is only one uncle who chops the chicken, while the aunty gets the rice and soup ready, thus service can be slow if there is people ordering to take away.
As such, please do not eat here! HAHAHA Nah, I am kidding.
As such, please prepare to wait in line. You may be waiting 40 minutes and eat within 10 minutes!

The wait in line made the food totally not worth it. They have an atrocious system (if any) to manage the queue, allowing people who call in to get their orders immediately at the expense of the customers who bother to physically wait in line. I waited for half an hour for 2 plates of chicken rice and in that time they must have packed at least 30 packets for people who ordered by phone. They are also very slow in processing orders and are oblivious to the impatient crowd. I get it that they are quite popular and you have to be patient if you want to eat good food but in this instance I am very much of the view that the long queue is caused by slow processing of orders and a bad management of resources and manpower. Never come on a weekend.

Chicken Rice — One of Singapore’s popular dishes.
The chicken is tender and juicy. Every bite of it will satisfy your taste bud! What I enjoy eating here is the reasonable portion of boneless chicken that comes with a delicious bowl of rice. Personally I feel this is one of the better chicken rice stalls if not the best!
For the price, its worth every $$.
There is often long queues at this stall, so that will tell you something about the stall. So if you are at Bukit Timah Food Centre, do give this stall a try! One of my favorites in my list of delicious local food.
