Was craving for something light yet less than $ 10 and this place definitely satisfied both factors. Came here on a Monday night between 6.45pm to 7pm. Wasn’t crowded so I was able to grab a sit immediately upon arrival. Then went over to the counter to order and pay and during that time, you will get a buzzer together with the receipt. Ordered chicken murtabak to share between my friend and I and teh limau with plum for beverage. The beverage was alright. It would be better if they have put less ice. But it quenched the thirst. The chicken murtabak came pretty bigger in size than what I thought. For $ 8, there were four pretty reasonable slices of prata with chicken curry inside and there were the thin and crispy pieces on the side. Besides that, they also provided a bowl of curry to pour on to the murtabak if you are up for more spice on your dish. Pretty worth the price. Order came within 15 minutes. Beverage first then food. Overall, enjoyed my quick bite at this chain. I prefer the thinner sliced murtabak as it was crispier and less meat. One of the better dining option in Junction 8. Will be back for more pratas :)

Tea time special from 3pm to 5pm has a really good deal. $ 2.50 for either a prata kosong(plain) or vadai or samosa with teh tarik(frothy tea) or kopi(coffee). We ordered the vadai and prata kosong with teh tarik. The system is(I was told): 1. order 2. pay 3. get a buzzer and receipt 5. wait for your drinks first 4. find a table, if you have not already 5. collect food when you buzzer lit/vibrate. 6. bring your receipt in case they get confused on what you ordered The service was hit and miss because of one server. She got confused when I asked for the tea. All because when I collected my food, I only took the dishes since the drinks were not there. So the buzzer was kept by them, and she either forgot I just brought the food to the table, or she just thought I was trying to pull a fast one on her for the drinks. I had to show my receipt and showed her my table did not have any glasses of teh tarik on it, and even then she still insisted that because I did not have the buzzer(she already kept it when I took the food), she could not give me the drinks. After glancing a few times between the receipt and table, she decided to give me a glass. I said I paid for 2 sets, then she wanted to give me a glass of teh tarik and a glass of something else. It was all resolved when the guy who took my order stepped in. Then he said usually customers would wait for the drinks first, before going to the table and wait for the buzzer to buzz before collecting the food. Since there was no sign or indication when ordering to wait for the drinks, it was easy for confusion to happen. Food wise, the vadai was awesome. Crispy on the outside, doughy chewy soft on the inside, with hint of potatoes. One of the better ones I have tried. The prata kosong was equally good. Also crispy all around. The curry was spicy and went very well. Tandoori was not available during the tea time period.
