Great tasting pizza in a great atmosphere. The price is a little high for what you get but overall the taste is there. Lot’s of options with a varied menu. I stuck with the classic cheese and was very satisfied. My friend ordered the bacon salame, and said she loved it. Strong fennel taste tho but said it was delicious Enjoy the food and nice atmosphere.

Awesome Pizza. With a bustling and noisy atmosphere Mozza manages to create a great casual setting. An extensive menu with great choices makes it a fantastic place to dine at. The bread and pizza served are one of the best in Singapore easily. Do try the squash blossoms as they are a.m.a.z.i.n.g. and very rarely served in Asia. The only issue I have with this place is that the service staff tends to rush everything. I’m guessing they want a turnover but making a guest feel welcomed is more important no? Be sure to make a reservation or be prepared to wait during dinner and make sure you bring your wallet because it ain’t gonna be easy on the budget either. But the food is worth it, quality and delicious.

Had a wedding at MBS but as wedding food usually is, our tastebuds weren’t too hyped for the usual Chinese course dinners and mozza was a great alternative in the MBS area. We had the Napolitana pizza this time and the tomato base was really good. Like always the artisan pizza crust was on point but we found the pizza to be a tad bit too salty with the olives and the anchovies together. Perhaps we could do with one only. Chilli flakes are a must with this pizza. Service was slow and slightly inefficient, definitely not enough for me to want to tip.

I was here last year and I ordered the pizza with listed as «bacon, salame»(fennel sausage, pancetta, tomato & mozzarella). It was the one of the best pizzas my mouth has ever tasted!!! Very expensive for its size though. I would most definitely buy this pizza again if I feel like blowing money away.

Fairly quiet when we got there are 1215 on a Sunday, and was a bit more than half full when we left around 130pm, so we got pretty attentive service. All of the dishes we got(squash blossoms, pizza and the Sunday lasagna) were good. Personally I thought the squash blossoms were the best of the 3 dishes we got!

Dropped in for lunch while on a visit to Singapore. Chef Karla did great, recommending salads and a light pizza that totally hit the spot! Would’ve returned for dinner if we had the time. Will certainly visit Mozza in LA when we get back to So Cal.

not bad pizza in the middle of Asia. As someone who loves NY/New Haven thin crust pizza, this was a really nice surprise in Singapore. The crust is really good and reflects Nancy Silverton’s(co owner with Mario Batali) bread making background. The salads were delicious and a nice break from Asian food. The chopped salad and tricolore salad were refreshing and fresh tasting. We also ordered several pizzas: brussel sprout, all meat, napolitana, buricotta. — the brussel sprout with bacon pizza — surprisingly delicious. — all meat, delicious as well — napolitana — loved it, though some folks in our party thought it was too salty(anchovies, capers, olives) — buricotta — the only pizza that was meh, the burrata cheese was a little watery which affect the mouth feel and crust. it was just a wet mass. skip The restaurant is REALLY loud — a lot of loud American pop music — so it’s hard to have any sort of conversation. The pizza crust and ingredients were perfect. Where it falls when compared to NY/New Haven pizza is that the sauce is a little off(a tad too sweet?) We spent $ 23USD per person.

Yum! A fave of mine. Everything I’ve ever tried here has been good. I think the prices are reasonable too. Best of all is the staff; they are so kind and attentive. Good job Batals!

When you are traveling for work for 3 weeks in Southeast Asia and all you want is pizza this was a great place to go on a Friday evening. I love the mall that this restaurant is located in with all the great shops and many restaurants to choose from. We went early enough on a Friday they we were able to get seated right away however it was busy and the service was slow. They have so many unique pizza options and I wanted to try something new from the margarita pizza I normally get. I went with a pizza that had a combination of mozzarella and ricotta cheese(a little heavy on the ricotta cheese) and grilled peppers. It was very tasty and a perfect size. I loved the thin breadstick chips they bring out as a starter. Our waitress was helpful and answered the many questions we had about the various toppings.

Tremendous flavor profile and the freshness of the ingredients is breathtaking! Who knew I had to come to Singapore to have an amazing Singapore Sling and Pizza!

I love this place. The décor and the food. It’s pretty popular so you need to make a reservation unless you don’t mind bar seating(fun imo). My problem is the service. It’s good. Too good. As soon as finished the guy is already wrapping up the place setting making you feel rushed to get out. It wasn’t full at that time. Service needs to chill a bit.

Sorry Mario, even though I’m a big fan of your cooking shows, I’ll never take another step into this restaurant. This review has nothing to do with the food(which I’m sure is tasty), but we just couldn’t get past the serving of attitude at the reception. Maybe it was the crazy heat, or the swam of people on a public holiday taking a toll on your employees, but I’ve never felt more insulted right at the doorstep of a restaurant. I took my family of 7 people to the famed Marina Bay Sands on July 17th, which also happened to be Hari Raya, a local holiday. At about 4pm and feeling hungry, we were walking near Mozza and the kids wanted to have pizza. So, I went in to the reception to ask for a table. «Hi! Do you have a table for seven?», I asked, beaming with excitement. There were 2 ladies behind the counter, both non locals and one of them looked up at me with a frown on her face. Even though I can clearly see empty tables at that time, one of them said«We don’t have any tables available, but you can wait at the bar counter.» «How long will it take for a table?», I asked again. She brushed me off with a «30 to 40 min» answer. I went outside to discuss with my wife and sister, and we agreed to hang around the mall till a table is available. My wife went back inside to ask for a number and this time, the second lady, with the same unwelcoming look, now tells my wife they don’t have a table. «Not till 9pm». «What about those tables?», my wife asked curiously, because a quarter of the restaurant was empty. «No tables except the bar counter.» My wife tried to explain that we were initially given a 30 min wait, but No! No tables. Period. The first receptionist who initially gave me the 30min timeframe looked away, seemingly busy with someone on the phone. If I could hear what they’re thinking, it probably sounds something like«This establishment serves the finest of American-Italian cuisine and you look like some low life local who shouldn’t be here». Between the time I first asked till the second time my wife asked, there was absolutely no one else at the reception. It is baffling how a 3 min wait can turn into a 5 hours in a blink. My Singapore friends have warned me before how much this country has changed over the years. In a country with more than 40% foreigners, locals are often treated like second class citizens, especially in places where foreigners hang out. Well, there’s nothing more foreign like a Mezzo in a Sands casino mall hosted by a Caucasian and Filipino. Unless you’re white and blue-eyed, or dressed like a Chinese tycoon who has just spent the equivalent of your annual salary at the casino, I suggest you stay away from this place. There are times when some dignity is worth more than the best pizza in town.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. I know it’s a celebrity chef restaurant in the middle of a casino mall– but trust me it was delicious. I came with 5 other people for a late business lunch. We ordered several appetizers and 3 pizzas. Some highlights for me were the prosciutto plate– thinly sliced and a bit salty and the chopped salad. The pizzas we had were the roasted tomato, sausage and the prosciutto. The roasted tomato was by far the best. It was so full of flavor and charred tomato bits. I really enjoyed it. For dessert we shared a rocky road pie and the apricot tart. I had a peach bellini which was full of peachy goodness. Our service wasn’t the best. Our waiter was obviously in the weeds and had several tables in the same section all very busy. He forgot 2 of our appetizers and also my 2nd drink. To get more bottled water we had to flag someone down. It was delicious food and I would certainly come back but perhaps not during lunch.

Visiting a pizzeria in a shopping mall can sound like a culinary nightmare, but this was not it. Mozza is one of the«signatory chef» restaurants in Marina Bay and yet it was expensive, they also delivered. The choices for pizzas in their menu were a bit out of the ordinary, but you can make requests for fillings. It seemed to be ok. The price level was quite expensive(for a pizza place) but the taste of their pizzas was good with excellent crust. So pick the fillings you like and let the chefs do the pizza. You won’t probably get disappointed.

This place was pretty good. I ordered the sausage pizza with fennel. It was good but there was a little too much fennel in my opinion. It was still good though. The dessert was amazing. I ordered a caramel coppett. It was delicious. Almost better than the pizza. The thing that upset me was the price. I understand that this is a celebrity chef restaurant but the price was very high. I spent S$ 34 on two beers. Seems pretty high for a bottled beer. Great food but be ready to pay for it.

We were so hungry for some non-Asian that this really hit the spot. Not that it was not good on its own because it really was good but I was never so happy to see a salad and a pizza. We shared the hearty salad and it was AWESOME. I can’t remember the name but it was the most filling of the choices so it shouldn’t be hard to pick out but it was fantastic. We almost ordered another one. Then the pizza came and it was gourmet pizza and a little less good than the salad but good none the less. I would normally have eaten a whole pizza this size myself as it was small and sparsely adorned but the salad was so filling that we split the sausage pizza and called it good. We sat at the window into the mall so the view was fun to people watch too. Check it out.

its so-called artisanal pizzas — the marriage of a talented bread baker and celebrity italian chef — are of the thin but substantial variety, with a crust that makes for delicious eating, without too much heft. you always start off with a bag of salted crackers — really an inadequate way to explain the thin crispness that arrives — and this time we proceeded with just salads(to rid us of the too-sweet aftermath of visiting fantasia). but wait — that’s wrong, as we had a plate of beautifully fatty proscuitto served over stalks of peeled asparagus, fat and charred till tender. the two salads we did have were green plates dressed with a sharp, sharp, sharp lemon dressing — so sharp you can’t help but wake up, brought alive by both the bitterness of the arugula, and the so-sour abundance of lemon. but they were delicious, and just the thing. the pizzas are by far the most economical option here — a spun bit of dough costs about 40 dollars, while the small starters pack a punch both in flavour and to your gut(when you realise how much you’ve paid for how little).

I stopped by this pizzeria on a whim — late lunch while on a long layover in Singapore. Great attentive service. As for the food, some good and some not so good. The place was a bit overpriced. I ordered an anchovy and broccoli pizzetta, olives al forno, two Peronis, and an espresso to close. The pizzetta was good and the olives okay. Of course the Peronis were Peronis! All was well until we got to the espresso. It was not what I would call an espresso. It smelled like a concentrated mix of instant coffee in a bit of hot water; and it tasted like it. Absolutely no crèma and it had a horrible aroma. Disappointing ending to what would been a nice break from walking around. I’m back home now and can’t seem to shake the memory of that espresso. So I’m letting you all know.

Love this place! Going back for second time today Pizza was amazing Its not a fine dining experience, but the food and ingredients are fresh and delicious. Everyone has a specific job in the food prep(we were at the counter and watched the whole experience) I have to say, it’s very interesting to watch and even better to eat. I’m a pizza lover and the crust and ingredients and result were great

I had such a great dinner there this time that I need to write an update. I never liked the classic Caesar salad, but I love the Italian variation where they blend anchovy into the dressing, and there is no bacon bits, no croutons. The version here is awesome. While it is not the best that I had, it certainly beats most other versions I’ve had here. The saltiness of the anchovy blends perfectly with the Parmesan reggiano used. Good quality ingredients make all the difference. We tried two different pizza this time. The crust is still my favorite one in Sg. Of the two, we preferred the mixed mushrooms over the runny egg one. The mushrooms are succulent and the pie is topped with 4 cheeses. Yummmmmm. Now to the best part. We were so stuffed that my dining companions initially refused to order dessert. We succumbed and ordered the Meyer lemon gelato tart. OMG. First, anything Meyer lemon is awesome. Made into a creamy flavorful gelato, it was perfectly paired with the champagne vinegar sauce, topped with some awesome homemade soup cream and candied zest… ok, go eat a slice now. Service was amazing for a mid-prized restaurant. The staff were well trained and knowledgable and very hospitable. We settled our check and were unaware that a group is waiting for our table. The manager graciously offered to move us to the bar and offered complimentary coffee/tea. Trivial: Meyer lemon is actually a fruit native to China! Made popular by American chefs. It is not as sour as the traditional lemon, and has more depth to its flavor.
