Pepper lunch had always my favorite choice if I don’t know what to have for the day. I’ve went a few outlets to try. I always feel that their normal beef pepper set, the beef are too less. Have to get the double beef pepper. Still got tried their other sets too and tastes good. Pepper lunch always is a good choice to have. Thumbs up!

The best time to visit is right after lunch around 130pm. At the entrance, you wait for a staff to hand you a plastic card with a number, look for a table with the corresponding table number and when you make your order. Hand the cashier the plastic card. Everything is nett priced and pretty wallet friendly, it’s a Japanese fast food joint. I normally go for salmon pepper rice as I like the chunks of salmon, cooking flat out on the cast iron plate. It can be quite greasy as they place a chunk of butter in the middle of the rice, buried by the corn. Don’t forget to help yourself to the brown and honey sauces.

What sort of hot plate food did I eat before Pepper Lunch appeared? I can’t really remember, but Pepper Lunch is a fantastic place to get yourself some piping hot grub on a hot plate. The standard beef pepper rice or salmon pepper rice fills up the stomach and is great for an end-of-day meal. Those who prefer not to eat so much rice can go for the hamburgers, chicken or salmon fillets, which are served with vegetables on the side. Don’t forget to be generous with the brown and honey sauces! The queue at this branch builds up quite a bit during meal times, and I suggest not starting your night here, as your clothes really stink up in the restaurant!
