One by Mr Bean

Craving for something for your sweet tooth while waiting for doctors appointments or getting your medicines from the pharmacy? Try out this place!
One is located near to the main building’s taxi stand. It is a modern like store. The store has a small pathway and there are little tables to sit in while you are savoring your snacks/​beverages.
What’s good here? I like their strawberry soya smoothie and their egg mayo «pancake». This store also carries a lot of Mr Bean’s merchandise like plushes, badges and keychains for reasonable prices. Overall I think that it is a good place to stop by for either breakfast or quick snack. Enjoy :)

Mr bean, one of the most established soya bean stores in Singapore, has gone a little upmarket with their new store at National University of Singapore (NUH). Called One, this pretty little store housed in a glass box displays a little more class while retaining its gentle, wholesome image. The menu at One is pretty much the same as that of most Mr Bean outlets, except that they do a wider range of cakes and other desserts aside from their usual ice-​cream and pancakes. I stop by there almost everyday on my way to work, grabbing a quick breakfast. Service is speedy as the very experienced staff work efficiently to clear the crowd.
They also have a sitting area here where customers can sit to have their soya beancurd/​milk on the spot. Shelves of Mr Bean merchandise line the glass walls, some of which are pretty cute. They include drink tumblers, cups etc. Not sure if they are appealing to the masses though, but they do not exactly appeal to me.
