This place is great. Their staff is super professional, and they take the effort to check your eyes thoroughly, which is a lot more than I can say for many places in Singapore. I’ve been coming to them for three years now, and find it hard to go anywhere else.

Ok, so Mee Mee isn’t going to be the least expensive place to get glasses or have a pair of contacts made, it may even turn out to be the most expensive, but it will likely be the most professional and the least painful optometric experience you will have.
True, they are all licensed and there is a basic standard of care, but you will quickly find, and with growing frustration that the service that you get can vary quite a bit.
What I like about Mee Mee is that its service culture is centered around taking ownership of a problem or issue. Once you bring them your prescription, it becomes their problem, which they then proceed to dispose of efficiently and professionally. I don’t want someone to wait 3 days to call a distributor, I like that when I ask about a product, Mee Mee gets back to me within a few minutes if not within the hour. Fairly basic stuff you would think, but too often lacking in a good number of optometrists in Singapore. It’s just not in the service culture of Singaporean optometrists, I guess.
Like Ronnie at Phua Spraypainting (do you get that I LOVE this guy already??), they will do a professional job for you and you get what you pay for. This is what I look for when I need service: We agree on what needs to be done, they do it, they deliver, I pay them and life goes on. No re-do’s, no haggling, no pain…
