Seriously despite the low rating, this is possibly the ONLY food delivery option if you find yourself hungry after midnight and I guess that’s why they are still in high demand. The service and the whole user experience frankly sux(if you allow me to be very honest). I will not comment on the food quality since it’s McDonalds and you know what you are getting yourself into(we all have our reasons to be there). But I feel that if McD is really customer centric and wants to improve on the user experience they would have at least tried to fix the following: — the mobile app NEVER works, I mean never so I have given up already by now; — the site SOMETIMES works but when it does work there will be hiccups like not able to accept credit car over cash; — calling the delivery hotline is the most reliable and guaranteed way to get through to the order stage; however, during high traffic times(which btw is every time I called) they invariably will ask for your post code, have you repeat your entire address to them(including unit number and every detail) and then tell you that your area is experiencing high volume traffic and to try again in an hour(But seriously when it’s 1 am at night will you try again in an hour/s). It is apparent that the system already has my mobile number because when I called they greet me by name. So why the need to go through the address again? Just tell me you are not delivering when you see my postcode on your screen. This is double the frustration when you are already desperate for food. Waiting time is very long, i would say 40 mins on average but I understand beggars can’t be choosers and there is nothing to choose from. I guess the other solution is to have a well-stocked kitchen so i am self-sufficient but sometimes you still get lazy. Hopefully there will be more food delivery options in Singapore so I can sever this love-hate(mainly hate) relationship with McDelivery for good.

I like McDonald’s and McDelivery once every month or two after drinks or when I’m too lazy to be bothered with real food. Delivery is always faster than an order from Food Panda. Last night, the delivery time was stated as 60 minutes, but we received the food in just under 40 minutes. McDonald’s Singapore has a big problem: Under-cooked French Fries. There’s nothing in the world like a properly cooked McDonald’s Fry. But after five years in Singapore, 80% of the time, I have routinely received under-cooked Fries. Has anyone else noticed this problem? I consistently get limp, under cooked fries that are too white and not the crispy golden brown that I find in the rest of the world. This problem is INTENSIFIED when purchased through McDelivery. OVERcooking the fries slightly would help them to maintain their crispness while in the bag on the back of a motorbike. Nope, the fries you get with Singapore McDelivery are the worst you’ll ever have. We opened the bag and it was like a HORRORMOVIE. Already under-cooked, the time on the delivery bike transformed them into limp, dead, pasty white inedible Zombie Fries. The Good: Easy to use online ordering system, Speedy delivery time (Tip: Under comments, ask for NOICE and your Cokes will arrive fizzy and not watered down) The Bad: In Hell, undercooked McDonald’s French Fries will be served at every meal. The Verdict: McDelivery get high marks(4 stars) for everything else but the under-cooked limp fries(1 star) are the deal breaker. FACT: The McDonald’s beef really isn’t that delicious. But a perfectly cooked McDonald’s french fry is a thing of beauty. Life is too short for under-cooked fries. 2.5 stars

This is a review of McDelivery 24⁄7. I have used the service numerous times. I have placed orders via the web and via the mobile app. The mobile app only allows for payment via cash. The website allows for payment via cash and credit cards. I have never placed an order via telephone. Both the mobile application and the web-site are easy to use. However, the redesign of the website is very clumsy. This does not overly affect the experience though. There is an OTP used for verifying that the order is a real order. Delivery generally takes between 30 and 45 minutes. They do provide an estimated delivery time. This is usually relatively accurate. Every once in awhile, an order will take considerably longer. The longest was 90 minutes. They did phone and communicate it would be an extended amount of time. As for the food, I have ordered both lunch/dinner items and breakfast. The quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes, it is hot and fresh and sometimes it is not. The delivery persons are always friendly and professional. I would say the most significant negative is that, quite often, delivery will not be available. There is a $ 3.50 delivery fee and a $ 10 order minimum. The food is almost always neatly packed. You do get to select which condiments(ketchup and chili sauce) you would prefer and these, along with utensils/napkins, are delivered. There are no «special» orders. This is one of my typical orders: Quarter Pounder with Cheese™ Upsize Meal with Fries(L) $ 7.50 Sprite®(L) Filet-O-Fish™ $ 4.30 French Fries™(L) $ 3.20 Subtotal $ 15.00 Delivery Charges $ 3.50 Includes 7% GST of $ 1.21 Order Total $ 18.50 Overall — While it is not perfect, I will continue to use the McDelivery. There are times it is just too handy. After all, it is McDonald’s and it is delivered. It would be great if they would sort out their issues so the service is truly always available.
