Martin Place Residences

This is one of the older residential apartment blocks in Singapore.
A taxi driver informed us that he had a friend living in the complex in 1971. It hasn’t had much in the way of refurbishment I’d say. The pool area is okay it is mostly shaded by the apartment buildings though so not the best place to chill in the sun and work on your tan.
Location is pretty great though. Very close to Orchard Road for shopping, and Clarke Quay for dining and evenings. $ 5-​$ 9 taxi from Singapore Flyer/​Marina Bay depending on the time of day (cost variation due to the time applicable tolling system for cars).

Matin Place résidences is located behind River Valley Road and Mohammad Sultan Road — one of the best areas in District 9.

Each apartment comes fitted with system cabinets and branded kitchen appliances (including built in refrigerators and washing machine), and comes with oak wood flooring.
The layout of the apartment is wide and spacious and all units either face Orchard Road or the Singapore River with CBD skyline. The pool is large and squarish with awesome BBQ pit facilities.
