Marco Marco is another one of those places I miss, as I no longer live near one. :( I was lucky to stop by a few days after they finished their reno. I didn’t even realize they renovated; had I known I would’ve taken some photos of the new space! I was craving pizza so I tried The Napoli. This is their take on the classic mozzarella, tomato, and basil pie. It was okay; I thought it was a bit too heavy on the cheese and not enough tomato sauce. No ice water available here, bottled only. Also, they take your order at the little stand up front(which looks like a regular hostess stand) and you pay for it right then and there. It was a bit confusing for me, and definitely the people that came after me.

No frill, comfortable dinning. We tried the Bangkok spaghetti and the Melbourne pizza. Both are tasty, definitely worth a try. Will we be back again? Absolutely!

Marco Marco offers a fantastic selection of pasta, pizza, and panini that caters to both Asian and Western tastes. It is one of my go to lunch spots in the Millenia Walk /Suntec area. I find the food to be of «fast-food» quality, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing… Marco Marco is the perfect place to grab a bite if you are in a rush and want a solid meal that will fill you up at a reasonable price! You can expect to spend c. US$ 15 per person. For Pasta: I’m particularly fond of the Naples, the Singapore and the Bangkok, but that’s personal preference. It really its up to you what you are in the mood for. For Pizza: I’m a huge fan of the Hawaiian. Hey, I love my Pineapple! Again, the Marco Marco’s menu is large enough to satisfy any craving. Preparation is lightning fast. Pasta is cooked before your eyes in a matter of 3 – 5 minutes, while the Pizza, which I believe to be pre-made, takes 5 — 10 minutes to heat. Pretty impressive! Unfortunately, this speed comes with a lack of consistency in terms of food quality, particularly during the lunch hour when there is a long queue. Pizza can either be perfectly cooked or partially burnt. Pasta can either be perfectly prepared or have either too much oil or short on certain ingredients depending on the order.
