My husband and I just moved to Singapore and we keep finding ourselves coming back to the Malt House.
They have such a wonderful selection of craft beers!
If you are a beer drinker then you’ll like this place!
Best beer!!!
Besides the beers the food is very good and such a different selection then the rest of the pubs here in Singapore.
The staff is very friendly and attentive!
I really enjoy coming here!

If craft beer is what you’re looking for, Malthouse is your jam. They’ve got a stacked menu full o’ beers and some ciders as well.
I love the neighbourhood feel of this bar. It’s on the main road, but a little bit before a major intersection so it doesn’t feel as busy. On a nice night, you’ll see most patrons hanging out front, enjoying their spacious patio. My husband and I prefer inside, and we were pretty sure that if we had a few more beers we’d probably think we were in Brooklyn. It’s the exposed brick, I tell you!
The only thing I was slightly miffed about were the prices. We chose the Terminal Pale Ale as it was the lowest in alcohol content (3.7% vol) of all the beers listed, yet it cost us $ 28.60 (including service charge and tax) for two. They did have deals if you buy multiple bottles, but if you’re just stopping by for a nightcap or simply a light drinker, it’s somewhat penalizing.

Recently arrived in Singapore for my first trip here and the Malthouse was recommend by a friend, especially since I plan to explore the local craft/​micro brew scene.
The location is nice and easy to find, well laid out and offers both indoor and outdoor seating spaces.
They have a large selection of beers, both bottle and on tap along with a nice menu.
I have eaten there several times now and love the atmosphere, food and staff. Also the owner (Scott) is very friendly and checks on customers personally.
Good sized portions, fresh and hot from the kitchen and options to kick things up (like the nuclear sauce for their wings!!).
Certainly plan to spend more time there both on this trip and any future trips to Singapore.
So if you are in Singapore, I highly recommend checking out the Malthouse.
