You know, maybe after being used to 4-​hour Singtel queues, the amazement of stepping into a telco-​store and being done in under 30 minutes was just too much to bear, but HOT DAMN THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING.
Stepped in, took a queue number, was called within five minutes. Staff serving me was polite and efficient. He sorted out my corporate discount with my name card, and informed me of a Sony purchase-​bundle that I wasn’t aware of instead of upselling me stuff that I would have got for free.
I can’t imagine why I persisted with the slow-​ness that is the Singtel CommCentre for so many years. If this is what M1 is like, then I’m going to stick around for a while.
