Kinokuniya

Kinokuniya (outside of Japan) is one of my favorite places to go! I was super excited to find this location in Singapore right next to our hotel. They had tons of cute stuff and the best of all, San-​X merchandise!!!
Kinokuniya is always an awesome place to go for cute stationary and goods and I hope they keep expanding world wide! The location in Dubai was also wonderful!

Tucked away in the upper floors of Liang Court is a small outpost of Books Kinokuniya. I come here when I have a hankering for Japanese noms (downstairs), and for the secret corner in the bookstore. This is where the consigned books from all three stores come to die. Which means, for those of us who love to read and don’t care that our books are a little dog-​eared, this is fantastic. Depending on the age and the condition of the books, it’s possible to get reading material for under $ 10. Do note that the selection can be unpredictable and unexpected, so sometimes there doesn’t seem to be much except horoscope books from a year back and language manuals for a place you haven’t even heard of before, but hey, isn’t this part of the adventure?
