I stumbled upon Kenko this morning and decided to make an appointment for a foot massage for after lunch. I know there is a Kenko inside Orchard Central but as Orchard Central is quite a maze, I have never seen it until now. It is in the«Indulge» section of the mall, nearer to Killiney Post Office side, and is pretty hidden on level 4. The«Indulge» section seemed to be where all the hair salons, nail salons, waxing and other aesthetics services are located. The place is spacious with a section for the fish spa and another part for the foot massage(reflexology) treatment. The back massage and body massage are at the back, hidden from public view. Body massage will be conducted in private individual rooms. I had the foot massage and I loved the bed. The place is dim with soft lighting and is most conducive for a nap. Instead of the usual recliner chair at most places, over here you get to lay almost flat on the chaise longue and be covered with a blanket. The therapist was equally good and actually massaged the feet without any cream or oil. I like that as it meant no oily or slippery feet inside shoes for later. The minus of this place is the prices. It was already a bit on the high side a few years ago but now it is even higher. $ 59 for a 40 minutes foot massage is way too much, especially when you have to wash your feet yourself. And you realize the higher walk in price is a way to make people buy the packages as it works out to about $ 42 for 40 minutes which is still a bit high but acceptable for the ambience. The only way I can justify this $ 59 is that I am paying for a place to snooze, take a power nap. Otherwise I will say there are so many other places with equally good therapists at much lower prices. Just don’t expect nice ambience though.

We loved it, location takes a little effort to find, relaxing, priced reasonably, the employees let us video the whole visit… we loved the experience.
