An excellent lunch/​dinner spot near SGH, where I attend classes.
Their fish slices bee hoon is fantastic! It’s very subtle, not packed with too much salt/​seasoning, and they don’t use any milk, depending on the natural goodness of the fish to flavour the soup base! Prices are reasonable, with $ 6.50 getting you a large bowl.
Apart from the fish slice bee hoon, the san lou hor fun, prawn paste chicken are nice!
have a drink next door at owl bar to top off the evening :)

A regular spot for office lunches as it can easily accommodate 10 in one table but the place is quite crowded at lunch so some wait may be required. food wise, this branch of ka soh is famous for its fish head beehoon but is there anything that doesn’t taste fantastic here? Hmm… Nope, everything is fantastic. From the san lou bee hoon to the fried beef horfun. The prawn paste chicken is also a favourite. Price is alright for an aircon chze char place. The grease smell is a terror but I suppose it is worth it.
