I’m pretty happy with the find! Many many years ago they used to have a stall at Marina Square food court! I absolutely loved that they sold suckling pig rice(no where else i know sells this). Apparently after they closed their shop there, they also moved to MBS but I wasnt aware about that. Anyways now they have opened a new shop at this location which isn’t the best of locations in my opinion as it’s a bit hard to get there by public transport and has nothing much else going on around that area. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to order the works this time round. If you don’t know already, this place specialises in roast meats — the usual suspects; Char Siew, Roast Duck and Roast Pork and of course their Suckling pig which can be ordered in small portions. They have this other upscale variant of Char Siew which uses kurobuta pork and only sells them on weekends. I got there a bit too late as I was told it was sold out so i ordered the normal version instead which I thought was VERYVERY good! Ya’see… the thing is… when it comes to charsiew, the absolute TOP on my list is Kay Lee’s. This one is just as good only less caramelised and burnt which some may prefer, but I still like mine with burnt bits. If not… this comes in close next to the BEST! I will definitely go back to try the kurobuta pork charsiew next time earlier! Here’s my rating for the meats — CharSiew 8⁄10 Roast Duck 6⁄10(very average) Suckling Pig(8⁄10) According to another food review i found online, I missed the The guifei(贵妃) chicken as well which is supposed superb. Give me another reason to return! :) Price is pretty reasonable; paid $ 24 bucks for 2people.
