This restaurant is located at the top level of compass point just next to sakae sushi and sometimes you can see the long queue forming up from the first level. I normally dine there because l love the lobster bisque soup which i can upgrade with some extra money from the normal set dinner. The other foods there are nothing much to talk about as i find the food of average price and quality. I once ordered the dory fillet or some fish fillet which amounted to about $ 21 and it was just a small piece of fillet which tasted quite ordinary and a little salty. Service was rather slow too and i had to keep reminding the staff if i wanted something like utensils or warm water. The food took quite awhile to come too and i think i probably would buy the frozen lobster bisque soup base from some seafood shop in woodlands industrial park and cook it myself at home.

Jack’s Place is known for their steaks. It’s been around for a long time, and I can even remember those days where I would pester my parents to bring me for a good birthday dinner and Jack’s Place will be the ideal place to go. Over the years, I must say that the standard has dropped, but it’s still a good place if you’re looking for steaks. I would recommend you to go for their lunch promotion set. It’s rather worth the money too. The staffs at Compass Point are quite friendly, but sometimes it’s hard to get their attention when you need them for assistance.
