I re-discovered this place on weekends when I found out they do set lunches every day. It gets crowded with families on weekends with people waiting for a table. That is quite surprising as the food is really very average, mediocre. But it is relatively cheap, so I guess it makes for an affordable family meal and a treat for dining out. The set is usually under $ 20 and you can get decent steak. Don’t bother ordering the other stuff unless you do want a bit of nostalgia of how Western food was in the 1980s or 1990s. The soup of the day(usually tasted like it was straight out of a can, with a thin slice of garlic toast) and dessert(miserable and not so very nice) are not that great. The coffee or tea are typical though it is served with evaporated milk for the«c» taste. I do come here if I want some steak. At least the steak here is not as oily as the one served at Hot Tomato a few levels down inside NEX.
