This bak kut teh stall is located in Marsiling very close to Malaysia. The Bak Kut The here is rather special and different from the ones that we used to, because it is cooked and presented in a claypot. Eating bak kut teh here is such a treat especially during rainy weather. The soup is just thick enough and thoroughly infused with all sorts of fragrant Chinese herbs; together with the fried dough fritters(you tiao), the experience is just heavenly. The pork ribs were extremely tender and fall off the bone very easily, and they tasted perfect when dipped in the dark sauce with chili. We also ordered the braised pork trotters which were also cooked to perfection. The meat is lean and very tasty, and the portion was satisfyingly large. Overall, this is a great place to eat bak kut teh, and in my opinion it beats most of the other places that I’ve been to.
