I have always wanted to try the ramen here as I keep walking past it since it opened. I should have stuck with walking past it as the ramen was not that great. It was so bad that I actually left most of it intact. The pork slices had a strong porky taste and smell. The ramen was too alkali for my liking. The only saving grace was the egg I ordered. It was not the best but it was the best of the lot. The red miso soup was also tasty but I did wonder if there was MSG in it. Service was a bit slow. Payment was by cash/NETS and you would need to bring your order chit to the cashier. If you are a ramen lover or used to better ramen, skip this place and save your calories and moolah. I would definitely not be back.

back after a long trip and wanted some ramen to blow me away and this one really did. blew me off in a bad way that i wouldnt want to come back if i can help it. i could never finish a bowl of ramen as e noodles given were always in such huge servings. this place offered half servings, that made me want to step in to give it a try. i thought to myself i could finally finish my bowl of noodles for once! 1. hokkaido kaiko ramen in white miso — i ordered half serving but waitress gave me full serving which i didnt know till e end of e meal i told her, your half serving is really huge. she said oh! that is full serving. so sorry. –_– e cha siu was tasteless, dry and hard to swallow. there r 4 things i look out for in a good ramen in linda’s handbook of ramen. 1. cha siu 2. noodles 3. soup 4. egg i didnt get to try e egg since e extra portion for cha siu i ordered was kinda too much(5 slices for $ 8.80). i didnt like e texture of e noodles either. e soup was e only decent thing but not good enough for me to come back. now i really need a good ramen to wash away this experience.

Very well balanced ramen. The noodles are nice and firm and soup is rich with flavour. Soups are a bit oily but unlike other ramen shop the chashu are lean, creating a great balance. We had Pork Shoyu Ramen, Red Spicy Miso Ramen & Scallop and Wakame Glutenous Rice. The rice was light and a delight. Need to try Oden next time. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they only take cash or NETS.
