but seriously, they carry an interesting array of books (mainly skewed towards the chinese mother tongue), catering to various levels of ability, including for kids.
with an interesting boutique touch to it’s décor and an eclectic offering of non-​book items as well.

and if like me, you are lucky enough to walk past majestic hotel after buying andre’s book en-​route to his restaurant and bump into him at the lobby, do approach him for his autograph!
he will more than likely oblige, don’t shy, shy ok?
they have since also opened a café within for you to rest your feet and soak in some chinese culture in a homely fashion, provided they have not gone dating, are not holding exhibitions nor talks!
and like how i’ve fallen in love with the xinyao duet above, i sincerely hope that you will also be hooked on grassroots and keep coming back for more!
i would really love for an independent small bookshop like theirs to survive and thrive!
