Since there isn’t a Toys ‘R’ Us outlet in the North East heartland region, I usually visit Gifts Greetings located at Nex. The store is sizeable and carries many novelties, stuffed toys as well as greeting cards. The store’s best asset is the LEGO section of course!
Being a fan of LEGO, I am quite impressed with the selection of LEGO items sold there. From Lord of the Rings to awesome dinosaurs, the store offers both basic building blocks and advanced box sets. I particularly love the LEGO keychains, which come in a variety of characters such as Darth Vader and Stormtrooper (Star Wars) and Anubis (The Mummy). The latest LEGO trinket found there is the musical instrument mini set that allows you to fix your own palm sized electric guitar.
I also adore the range of stuffed animals there especially those under the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) label. They are a little costly but look really amazing and help a great cause. Gift-​wrapping service is also available and sales assistants are rather amiable.
