Four Seasons Durians

I never liked durian products although I take the durian fruit. The market has been coming out with real durian meat product that is equivalent to eating the real durian. One of them is the Durian Pancake offers by Four Season Durian.
Trust me, I didn’t expect the pancake to taste like that before I tried. The crêpe is very crispy and durian meat is cold and delicious. Very good combination. I won’t reject buying it again if there is no queue.
I observed customer buying in bulk, like 5, 10 pieces at one go and enjoy the pancake at home in comfort.

Ohhh yums. It’s terribly hard to walk past the Four Seasons Durian at Ang Mo Kio Hub’s basement and not buy anything, especially when there’s no queue. BECAUSE, there’s always a queue, of at least two persons. And one of those persons will definitely buy in boxes.
I love the durian pancake. Even as I type it now I wish I had one in my hand. The way it is made looks simple, I should know since I’ve stared at the staff for quite some time while in the queue. The lady takes a bit of the pancake mix, swirls it into a round paste on the hot pan, and when it’s slightly brownish she flips it to the other side. After the other side is done she takes it out and adds the icy durian paste in and folds the pancake into half. The pancake can hardly close because the filling is THICK. And that, is the MAGIC. A thin slice of fragrant warm pancake enveloping cold fresh durian flesh, oh my oh my…

While many may hate the smell, durians have evolved from just being a fruit to being made into different yummy-​licious saliva-​inducing goodies. If you want your D24 encased in heavenly puffs, try the Four Seasons Durian. The staff will always ask if you want to consume them immediately or later. They will hand over frozen ones for those who want to eat them later so that they taste fresher when you eat them. I usually get the fresh ones to eat immediately because I hate having to wait for the frozen ones to thaw. They are not stingy with the filling, and I like how this retailer’s durian puffs do not taste very sweet. They come in bite-​size pieces, so that means you can practically wipe them out in a matter of seconds!
Their durian pancakes are okay, but it would be better if they came with more filling.
