Euan Murugasu, MBBS S’pore, FRCS Edin

Dr. Euan Murugasu is an ENT surgical specialist who two of my sons visited. We visited Dr. Murugasu in his capacity as a Consulting Doctor at Raffles Hospital because the usual location where Dr. Murugasu works (I think it’s Jurong Medical Centre, though Dr. Murugasu is also affiliated with Mt. Elizabeth’s) doesn’t accept children. Dr. Murugasu has a wonderful manner with children and has great equipment, including the regular vacuum to get gunk out of the ear and a camera probe which goes through your nose and into your ears and projects the adventure onto a big screen — just like the spelunking episode of Planet Earth. At the same time as the visit, we also received a much-​needed audiological exam. The well-​equipped team then gave my kids an arsenal of sprays and mists to combat the evil dust mites to which a good share of SIngaporean kids are allergic.
