One of my must-stop-shops on Haji Lane, I’m never able to leave Dulcetfig empty-handed. And considering that their pieces move so quickly, it’s like a brand new(or new to you) shopping experience each time. Their vintage ‘70s handbags are especially luscious and I’ve never made it out without a piece of vintage jewelry. But most recently, it was their hilarious handmade cards that won me over. I left with five.

Dulcetfig has an interesting mix of modern and vintage wear as well as cute accessories housed in a sweet little store, and there’s something about the ambience and curated selection that makes it feel like you’re shopping in your hipster friend’s walk-in wardrobe. This shop is most memorable for its family of 3 identical fat brown cats which live in the store and can often be found on the counter or wandering around the shop, and are often more than happy to be petted by friendly customers.

Dulcetfig seems to be moving towards the more contemporary pieces, though there is still a very good collection of well-priced vintage accessories. There are also vintage clothing re-cut and updated, as well as a good collection of local and regional designers. I have my eye on those clutch bags with handles made from jade bangles. Like Jac, my favorite part of the store is popping in to see if the cats are around to give them a scratch. Friendly creatures(as cats go) add to the shopping experience, as does the proprieter, Lovie, who makes your shopping experience a very personal one.
