I’ve been to this Dimbulah two days in a row this week and just from day to day, I have to say, it’s been pretty inconsistent. Yesterday’s cappuccino? Luxurious foam so smooth and dense that I raised an eyebrow as I took my first sip. Today’s? Flat foam that was nothing like yesterday’s. The bean quality is without doubt, and the coffee is good. The barista is practiced and smooth, and she’s definitely efficient. I just wish she was a little more consistent with the foam. I’ll probably still buy my coffee here because it’s the nearest coffee place to my bus stop not named Starbucks… but let’s just say there isn’t much loyalty, and if the weather weren’t so hot, I’d be walking to Jewel a lot more. Oh, and another warning. I pick up a coffee for my colleague who’s lactose intolerant. Apparently the soy milk here is(like most places) pretty bad. If you’re a soy taker, the walk to Jewel is worth it.
