Some of the best wings I have ever had. It’s on the dive side but the beer prices are better than most in town. $ 50 Singaporean buys you 3 liters of beer. Food cut off is 11:00pm of you love fried wings please come here. Best wings in town!!!

This is a quick review of beer and wings with a friend at Cuscaden Patio in the basement of Ming Arcade. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is somewhere between casual and dive. The tables and chairs look like something purchased from garage sales. When we arrived, it was quite empty. However, by the time we were leaving. it was becoming a little more festive with folks lining the steps to enjoy cold beers and wings in the evening warmth. The wings are good. I guess since I can make pretty good wings and I come from the land of pub style chicken wings, I may be a bit jaded. Like I said, they were good. But they would not make the list of top 20 wings I’ve ever eaten. There were a lot of them on the tray. Some seemed fresh and straight from the fryer hot and others did not. They were crispy. The dipping sauce went well with them. They were a nice accompaniment to cold beer. Overall — Cuscaden Patio is decent place to chill for after work drinks. The wings will do the trick to tie you over to a proper dinner. There beer is cold and it was promptly served.

This place may look run-down and dodgy from the outside. But upon entering it, you’ll realize how cosy it can be for a place to chill and have a cheap beer and tasty wings at a great price too! They have bottled beers that go for less than 10nett, and a variety of cocktails and a good price too. On Tuesdays, they offer a promotion — $ 12 for a jug of San Miguel beer, probably one of the best deals in town. If you are craving a game of pool, you can satisfy your cravings here too. The boss plays a pretty mean game of pool, so if you’re feeling up to it, why not ask him for a game. On the second floor, is where Cuscaden’s sister pub resides. Go there for louder music, such a rock tunes an dmore.

I cannot figure where else in Orchard where you can actually enjoy great beer and great chicken wings at such an affordable price! Cuscaden is located at a part of Orchard that is less explored, or sometimes even considered sleazy. But Cuscaden is definitely worth a visit. This place serves really good chicken wings that go well with the San Miguel draft beer. The prices are really affordable; I rarely spend over $ 20 here. The music is probably not those mainstream ones, but it gives a very chill mood to the place. There’s also a pool table inside, if you fancy a game or two. Overall, a pretty cozy and chill place to catch up with friends over beer and chicken wings!

Located in the basement of Ming Arcade, tucked away in a sleazy looking corner of Orchard Road, lies Cuscaden Patio Café & Pub. Go there every Tuesday and you shall see teenagers who have just turned 18 coming in by the cliques to get the Tuesday Night special of $ 12/jug of San Miguel beer. It’s a great place for rock music lovers to go and chill out. Though the ambiance of the place seems sleazy, once you get used to it, it’s actually great. I’ve been there a few times and it’s always fun to sing along with everyone when a great song(say AC/DC’s Back in Black or Guns’N’Roses’s Sweet Child of Mine) starts playing. The chicken wings are a MUST have at their bar. It’s $ 10 for half a dozen(meaning 6 wings and 6 drumsticks) and $ 20 for a dozen on Tuesday Nights. Do go down early as when the night gets later, the chicken wings take longer to be served due to its overwhelming popularity. And always, always dip the chicken wings in their awesome chilli sauce.
